One of the bigger events nga mahitabo while I’ll be serving as Acting Mayor is the Palarong Pambansa 2024, which will bring to Cebu an estimated 12,000 ka mga student-athletes, ilang coaching staff, ug mga parents or chaperones, to compete in 28 sporting events that are spread out in different locations.
Dako nato nga garbo nga ang City Government of Cebu maoy host sa Palaro, yes. But, more importantly, dako sab kaayo ni nga opportunity for our Tri-Cities — Cebu City, Mandaue City, and Lapu-Lapu City — to show our brand of hospitality sa atong mga bisita.
Mao ni nga nagsabot-sabot mi nila Mayor Jonas Cortes of Mandaue and Mayor Ahong Chan of Lapu-Lapu og unsaon pag align sa atong mga kalihukan to ensure nga memorable para sa tanan natong bisita ang Palaro 2024.
