It was my great honor to attend, the other night, sa dinner nga gidalit sa Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office. Akong gilantaw ang ilang pagdapit nato, ug ang mainiton nga pagdawat ni Acting Director General Allen Pang, as a testament to the enduring bonds between Hong Kong and the vibrant City of Cebu.
Hong Kong and Cebu share more than just geographical proximity. We share a vision of prosperity and a dedication to fostering socio-economic development. Our collaboration extends beyond mere trade relations; it encompasses a rich tapestry of cultural exchange, innovation, and investment.
Yet, as we celebrate our achievements, we must also acknowledge the challenges that lie ahead. The global landscape is ever-evolving, presenting both opportunities and obstacles. It is imperative that we work hand in hand to navigate these uncertainties and unlock the full potential of our mutual relationship.
