When the LP Mayor took over in 2016, the city’s budget for garbage collection increased 3x from 200 million to 600 million. This begs the question, do you think garbage collection in our city improved accordingly? Has it become three times better? Want to hear your thoughts and observations!
Congratulations to the lady golfers who won the gold medal for the Philippines yesterday in the 2018 Asian Games (left to right in photo): Bianca Pagdanganan, Yuka Saso, and Cebuana Lois Kaye “Lk” Go of Barangay Guadalupe. Lk also won a bronze medal in the SEA Games last year. With two medals for the country in two years, Lk is an inspiration for all Filipino athletes, especially the Cebuanas. I plan to sponsor a resolution in the City Council to give her the recognition she deserves for her accomplishments.
This is a serious allegation backed up with evidence. Rather than dismiss this outright as being politically motivated, LP Mayor Tom should disprove that he received drug money from Jaguar in 2013 and 2016. He owes it to the Cebuanos who voted for him.
Vice Mayor Labella has a point. The previous administration shelved the underpass project until the city and DPWH came up with measures that would mitigate the traffic expected during construction. However, when Mayor Tom took over, he immediately had the project implemented, despite the lack of a traffic plan and alternate routes. I wonder why he rushed it. Am I to believe a reliable source telling me that a certain mayor and congressman pocketed a 67M commission from the said project?
