Sugbu Chinese Heritage Museum
Foundation, especially sa Vice-Chairperson niini nga si Madame Elizabeth Go, on the occasion of the unveiling of the heritage marker on the Gotiaoco Building, which hosts the museum along MC Briones St., atbang sa Cebu City Hall.
The building was constructed in 1914 and is widely recognized as one of Cebu’s pioneering commercial structures.
This was why, in 2013, ang atong Sangguniang Panlungsod mideklara sa Gotiaoco Building nga heritage site. And we strengthened this in 2020 by approving City Ordinance 2582, thereby making it a protected heritage site.
As Vice Mayor and concurrent chairman of the Cebu City Cultural and Historical Affairs Commission, gikalipay kaayo nako nga makatambong sa atong affair.
